These are some of the kind words being shared today about our longtime NAWBO sister and advocate for women entrepreneurs around the world, Mary Schnack, who passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20th after a long battle with cancer.

Last week in the nation's capital President Obama gave us the State of the Union Address. It made me realize it's time for you all to get a State of NAWBO address since I took over the reins. Leading the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) has been an exhilarating adventure. As we relocated our offices back to DC in the fall, it provided an opportunity for us to increase NAWBO's presence with policy makers and elected officials in our Nation's Capital.
